22/05/2020: MICRO BEST BUDS RESULTS & POINTS
The first team meeting of 2020's mini-season saw a superb turnout of 15 drivers (12 eligible for points) at Crimond for the Micros Best Buds. The meeting saw the debut of yet more new racers in the league, with English pairing 84 Josh H. and 529 Tom B. teaming up together in their yellow, black and silver UF1s as well as a return for 47 Michal in the PiranMoto pairing. There was some superb racing and wrecking all evening from everyone involved on the tight Scottish oval, which meant it was a very competitive fight for the title that went down to the DD...
Thanks to their superior consistency, it was the Burgundy Boys of 673 Sam and 870 Looney who came out on top: while Sam claimed a heat and was the last eligible driver in the DD, he was supported by Looney as the pair both scored points in all but 2 races to end up with 29 and 20 points respectively to win with 49 points. The driver of the night, who could be the driver of the mini-season already, was 621 MIniman who won 2 heats, the final and the last Ramp Allcomers to score 33 of Team Bandicoot's 45 points to finish second, with 66 Colin contributing a worthy 12 points along the way. Third was the hastily arranged pairing of 606 Jon and 786 Brett who were Back in Black; unsurprisingly, it was Brett who scored the majority of the pairing's points, with successive heat wins and an Allcomers to net 30 of the 36 scored and place the pair in 3rd. PiranMoto, who in the past have been very strong in this format, faltered despite 47 Michal's heat win and 616 Jam's second place in the final and ended up 4th with 27 points. As for Half Huichen and Yellow 'n' Black, apart from consecutive seconds for the former's 85 Mozza and a second place in the heats for the latter's Josh H., neither team really got anywhere and finished fourth and fifth respectively. Two of the ineligible scoring drivers were also winners, with 993 Vitas claiming Allcomers 2 and 320 Hunter making a late entry to properly win the DD.
Top 6 scored in heats and final. Allcomers were non-points. 5 points went to the winning pair in the DD; as the DD was won by an ineligible driver, it was taken back to the last eligible driver which was Sam.

12/06/2020: UNLIMITED BATTLE OF BRITAIN RESULTS & POINTS
The first proper team meeting of the 2020 mini-season had another wonderful showing of 15 drivers (all eligible for points) spread across 5 teams at King's Lynn for the Unlimited Battle of Britain. We saw another debutant tonight in Team Bandicoot 'B' first time #3 Emiel from the Netherlands, who was excellent and even managed to win the Allcomers on debut!
This meeting was pretty much decided from the get go as Team Bandicoot 'A', containing two of LFS Bangers' multiple title winning stars, one of the best drivers to never win a big title and the mini-season's breakout rookie, crushed the rest of the field with a ridiculous 79 POINTS, 63(!!!) ahead of joint second-place teams Team Aftermath and PiranMoto. As has been the case all season, 621 Miniman was the top scorer with three heats and the final (his fifth final in succession in 2020) to outscore the other teams by himself; 85 Mozza and 997 Rik also achieved this with 20 and 19 points respectively as each driver won a heat, and 66 Colin chipped in with a valuable 10 points. Aftermath and PiranMoto managed to get stuck together in 2nd on 16 points, with 616 Jam winning the sole race not won by a Bandicoot driver and then surviving with 993 Vitas in the DD for both teams to net 2 points from it. Emiel was the lone scorer for Team Bandicoot 'B' with 12 points including two 2nd places and a third as well as the aforementioned Allcomers victory. Propping up the table were the World Class Wreckers, with 786 Brett getting their only point; true to their name, 673 Sam and 870 Looney went on a wrecking spree!
Top 5 scored in heats and final. An Allcomers was also held. Drivers in 6th or lower finished but did not score points. 5 points went to the DD winner; in the event of a tie, it would be 2 points to each team.

10/07/2020: 2 LITRE BATTLE OF BRITAIN RESULTS & POINTS
The second proper team meeting of the 2020 mini-season saw a lower turnout of 12 drivers (all but 1 eligible for points) over 3 teams at Yarmouth for the 2 Litres Battle of Britain. This meeting was an exceptional evening, with consistent quality team racing, strategy and wrecking throughout and all drivers who participated should be proud of their displays.
It's a Bandicoot BoB double as having claimed the big title last month, they emerged triumphant on 56 points in what was actually a far closer fought affair than the complete destruction of last time round. Unsurprisingly it was the team's two big rodders in 66 Colin and 621 Miniman who were their biggest scorers, with Colin being the joint top driver of the meeting with 3 heat wins and a third in the final to net 21 points, while Miniman yet again claimed the final, a second and two thirds on his way to scoring 20 points. Aiding them in their title were recent recruit 85 Mozza, who claimed a second and two thirds for 10 points, and guest 666 Beatdrop who won the DD alongside 621. PiranMoto pushed them hard but came up 14 points short; 47 Michal's heat win as well as two seconds saw him score 19 points before winning the Allcomers, with guest driver 620 (previously 320) Hunter getting a pair of seconds and third. 993 Vitas was PM's sole finisher in the final and got 9 points while PM leader 616 Jam spent the evening on oppo and only netted 2 points. The other best performing driver of the night was the makeshift Red + White team's 673 Sam, who also scored 21 points with two heat wins and second in the final, but didn't have the support of the constantly rolled 337 Manhire (4 points) or the constantly vulnerable 606 Jon (2 points) and the trio finished 3rd with 27 points.
Top 5 scored in heats and final. An Allcomers was also held. Drivers in 6th or lower finished but did not score points. 5 points went to the DD winner.
NOTE: 628 Stwarm was originally in Team Bandicoot "B" with Beatdrop, but due to Stwarm's brief attendance it was decided to keep Beatdrop in Team Bandicoot. His result has been retained for reference.

24/07/2020: 2 LITRE BEST BUDS RESULTS & POINTS
The second pairs meeting of the 2020 mini-season saw 11 drivers (10 eligible for points) attend Birmingham for the 2 Litre Best Buds. Another new driver made their debut in 828 Sytze, father of 628 Stwarm. The evening saw some solid racing and wrecking from everyone in attendance with a fair amount of oppo on the banked oval.
2020's star driver proved to be the difference in the destiny of the title as 621 Miniman was top performer on the night and took Team Bandicoot to the title with 56 points. His heat and final double combined with two 2nds saw him net 36 of his pair's points. 66 Colin contributed with 20 points of his own including a double heat win. A somewhat surprising second place went to the Yellow & Black pairing of 673 Sam and 666 Beatdrop who were 11 points behind on 45 points; both drivers won a heat each, finished 3rd and 4th in the final and claimed the DD together after eliminating 993 Vitas of PiranMoto. On the subject of PM, with Vitas being a late arrival it was up to 616 Jam to net their points with 31 in total including a vital second in the final alongside a win in the Allcomers. That final put PM THREE points ahead of the Wreckers, who saw Stwarm win the opening heat and accumulate at a steady rate to net 26 points with Sytze contributing 2 points to their overall score of 28 points. Propping up the table were the Blue & Whites of 606 Jon and 85 Mozza who had to race 1 man down after the opening two heats, eventually getting 13 points, but Jon made up for it with an Allcomers.
Top 6 scored in heats and final. Allcomers were non-points. 5 points went to the winning pair in the DD.

14/08/2020: UNLIMITED BEST BUDS RESULTS & POINTS
The final pairs meeting of 2020 saw 7 drivers (6 eligible for points) visit Warneton for the Unlimited Best Buds. There was some great racing despite the low turnout.
It was another success for Team Bandicoot as they claimed the meeting thanks once again thanks to the pair's superb finishing consistency. Five heat wins in succession (three proper wins) for 621 Miniman as well as the final (and the declared DD) saw him net 44 points to be the driver of the night, and was supported by 22 from 85 Mozza. The revived Riot Squad finished second with 52 points thanks to 616 Jam's heat win, three 2nd places and the other half of the declared DD, with 606 Jon contributing a vital 16 points. PiranMoto were third, three points behind as they could only manage two 2nd places in the heats while finishing near the back in most heats. The ineligible driver 171 Airis had a good evening, with two heat wins and 2nd in the final.
Top 6 scored in heats and final; in the event of an ineligible driver finishing in the top 6, their place was ignored for points purposes. 5 points went to the winning pair in the DD; as the DD was declared, 2 points each were awarded to the remaining two teams.

11/09/2020: 2 LITRE CORONA CRASH KINGS RESULTS & REPORT
The final team meeting of the 2020 mini season saw 8 drivers across 3 teams attend the dangerous Autocross Arena Oval to fight for the title of the Corona Crash Kings. Despite the low numbers this was a very solid meeting with superb racing and wrecking throughout the night.
After a tight tussle across the heats, Yellow 'n' Black raced away as the winners on 64 points. It was no surprise to see their guest driver 621 Miniman ending up as the best performing driver on the night with 26 points including a heat and his speciality race of the final. 666 Beatdrop was the second best driver on the evening thanks to third in the final and his elimination of 993 Vitas winning the DD for Y'n'B to end up with 22 points. 673 Sam also contributed well with 16 points including a heat win and second in the final. Incredibly, PiranMoto were leading going into the final but had all their drivers eliminated before the finish, meaning their 43 points from the heats got them second overall. 616 Jam won 2 heats and finished on 15 points himself while 620 Hunter won 1 but netted 20 points with Vitas contributing 8 points of his own. Team Huichen were always at a disadvantage just having 2 drivers, but 606 Jon netted a surprise win for the team having avoided all the early carnage in heat 3, eventually scoring 15 points, and 235 Kifkyle picked up 3 points to end the evening on 18 points.
